What The Heck Is An Australian Labradoodle?

Genuine Australian Labradoodles are a cross of Labrador and the Moyen Poodle plus between 3-6 other pedigree breeds infused. The cross between the Labrador and the Poodle is simply the starting point of this special and unique breed. Further development created sweet temperaments, intelligence, beautiful colors and soft allergy friendly coats that are odorless. These wonderful family companions were created over more than a forty year period. Read more about the Australian Labradoodle history on our site.

About Skyedoodles

My name is Kristen and I am owner/operator of Skyedoodles, a small family breeder of the Multi-Generational Australian Labradoodle. Years ago, I purchased my first Australian Labradoodle as a pet from Mill Creek Labradoodles and I feel in love with the breed and became fascinated about how this unique breed was so much more then a first generation cross of a Labrador and a Poodle. I loved talking to Sandra about how she manages to breed such beautiful and intelligent dogs and loved hearing about her litters. Eventually, I whelped a couple litters for her to see if I would enjoy the breeding business. After one litter, I was convinced this was exactly what I wanted to do and with the help of my dear friend and mentor breeding became a reality.  In 2011, Skyedoodles was born,  the name comes from my daughter “Skye” and Skyedoodles is often used by people locally who call or write to me and say they want a “Skyedoodle”.

Skyedoodles has happy customers all over the country. Most of our customers come from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
